DAY FIFTY-SEVEN – Robin Cairns

Revenge Is A Dish

Revenge is not a dish.
Hot it’s criminality. Cold it’s a mental health issue.
Forgiveness is a meal in itself.

Robin Cairns is a poet and performer who has also worked in rock, cricket and mental health journalism. His play Sawney Bean – A Very Scottish Cannibal was a hit at the StAnza poetry festival in 2014. He has worked with John Hegley, Tony Roper, John Cooper Clarke and The Krankies and performs regularly at The Britannia Panopticon Music Hall in Glasgow. His new show The A To Zed Of Loving A Ned will appear at the Edinburgh Fringe (Arthur Conan Doyle Centre, Palmerston Place) at 6pm every night from August 7 to 29.
